Delete your Lansia account

You can delete your Lansia account at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app (fastest)

If you have the Lansia app installed:

  1. Open the app and sign in to the account you want to delete
  2. Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the Tasks or Stats tab
  3. Scroll to the bottom of Settings
  4. Tap Delete account
  5. Confirm

The app removes your data and signs you out the moment you confirm.

Option 2: Email request

If you no longer have the app installed, or you can't sign in, email us and we'll delete the account for you:

Include the email address you used to sign in to Lansia. We'll confirm the request and complete deletion within 7 days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your Lansia account, we permanently remove:

  • Your profile (display name, email, sign-in method)
  • All your daily goals and their completion history
  • All milestones you've unlocked
  • Your push notification token
  • Your Apple/Google account link to Lansia
  • The auth record that lets you sign in

What's kept (and why)

For tax, legal, and accounting reasons, we keep these for a limited time:

  • Purchase records: if you bought Lansia Lifetime, the purchase receipt is retained for up to 10 years (Slovenian tax law) in our payment processor's logs (Apple App Store / Google Play). We do not retain it on our own servers; Apple and Google are the source of truth.
  • Server logs: short-lived debugging logs (under 30 days) may briefly contain your user ID until they expire. They are not used to reconstruct your account.

Other than those, no copy of your goals, profile, or activity remains in our systems.

Account deletion vs. data deletion

This page is about deleting the entire account. If you only want to remove specific goals, you can do that from inside the app. Just delete the individual goals from the Tasks tab. There is no partial-data export or partial-data deletion API; we keep things simple.
